Open Science: a necessary revolution

The Direction of Scientific and Technical Information (DIST) is organizing the CNRS Open Science Symposium on Tuesday 8th Octobre 2019.

This day is intended to answer any questions you may have about Open Science: what is Open Science? Why go towards Open Science? How to accelerate the Open Science movement? In which open archive should I store my articles? Can I send my article to a prestigious editor and at the same time deposit it in an open archive? Should I pay to publish in Open Access? Are our current evaluation practices adequately recognizing the work of researchers? Are other researchers interested in my data? Can I make my data available and how to protect it? Have I retained copyright to my article? Can I reuse it in another corpus to benefit from the new tools of artificial intelligence? Who can help me? etc.
